Condolence: Dear Nicoe and David and family, We are all so very very sorry for your loss. For both your Mom and Dad to pass away so suddenly...they loved you and each other so much. Johanna and Lonnie and Mom (Auntie Pat) and I all love you and wanted you to know that we will be thinking about you and praying for you especially, tomorrow at the funeral. We are so sorry that we cannot attend. Did you know that your folks are my God-Parents...I am going to miss them from the bottom of my heart. Your Dad worked with my Dad (Uncle John) on the bridge crew and Mom worked with your Mom at the Veneer plant...and they stood up for my folks when they married. You were the best part of them...I still remember how happy when they were blessed with you, David and then Nicoe!! and then Grand-children!!! I will never forget them. Condolence: It was my privilege to be closer to Vi while I lived in Vancouver for eight years. She was so warm and hospitable, so easy to talk with, what a jewel of a person. I still feel a glow inside when i think of her infectious laugh, her easy vitality, her true love of life. We shared a love of garage sales and she would often show me a special find from her collection with a funny and interesting story behind it. I would find our visits giving me so much family warmth and unconditional love, I would feel refreshed and connected. She would send me away with these lovely feelings, and sometimes a little gift. Thanks Vi, for giving me so much. You were a truly great person. and an enduring inspiration. I want to be the best that I can be when i think of you.

Condolence: I have very fond memories growing up and visiting Vi, Steve, Nicoe and David. I have memories of visiting Tisdale when Vi was there and there were many historical stories shared of homesteading in Saskatchewan. Her cousin, Flo, my grandmother,always shared kinship and I could tell Flo and Vi were close. I miss those days of drinking tea around the table and sharing. Rest in peace Vi.

Condolence: Nicoe and David, I spoke with you both and Aunt Vi over the past few months and said my goodbyes before a trip to SE Asia. I was in Thailand when hearing of her passing. A visit to a Buddhist temple gave me time to reflect on what a strong, wise, kind, funny, and beautiful woman she was. Thoughts of her with Mom and Dad, Steve and all the other family who preceded her made me smile. Many blessing were sent her way. Vi gave me a gift of coins when I graduated from nursing in 1970. Her note was the true gift, in it she wrote for me to first travel, second, find a good job and only then consider marriage and having children She was part of my inner feminist spirit Love to you both and your families. Condolence: Aunt Vi represented a sense of solid foundation and humor that came from Prairie stock . One photo that comes to mind of her riding a large Clydesdale horse with no saddle and one hand on the reins and in the other a handfull of mane . Her short "Wood Eye " joke took forever to tell as even after countless tellngs her famous laughter would time after time interupt causing her listiners to laugh along with her .A special Lady has moved on but her heart felt laughter is a gift for all who knew her . Condolence: Dear Niki & David, Your Mom was truly a beautiful lady. We thought of her as our Glamorous Aunt Vi, and she was all of that. Special memories of our Family Reunion's and only missed them if she was ill. I have the memories of visiting Aunt Vi when I was visiting my Grandchildren in Steveson. Looking at the photos while Steve was beating Blake at crib. We loved and cherish her. See you both in Chelan.

Condolence: I just read the condolences from the family members and couldn't hold back the tears. Violet was obviously a very special person and greatly loved by many. Over the few years I got to speak with her she was always so pleasant and kind to me and my children. I wish I could of known her better but that will have to waite for paradise. There we wont have to worry about death or time and will find out the original purpose of life. Til then Violet. My sincerest condolences to the family.

Condolence: For almost 20 years, Violet was like a mum to me. From the time we met, I felt a very special connection. Mum, you were instrumental in all things good. You showed me kindness, love and caring the best way you knew how. You were always such a joy for Bryston and Breanna. The connection you have with Jillian is second to none. I thank the Lord for bringing you in my life and thank the Lord again for keeping you in my life. You taught my children faith. You taught be to believe. Nicoe, you are like a sister to me. Always have been and always will be. I thank you for allowing me to share in your joy called Mom. David, through all the years, you have been so wonderful in sharing your family with me. Back in the 70s, your parents provided my family with a rental home at a time when my parents were struggling to make ends meet. As a child, I really didn't have much appreciation for what that meant, but as an adult, I am grateful. Condolence: On behalf of my family I would like to send condolences to David and Nicoe. Your mother was an amazing woman and I have such great memories of her from my childhood...The cookie jar was always full! Mrs. Zeswick was a kind, generous and giving person who touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be missed but her spirit lives on in you...her children whom she was most proud of.

Condolence: I met Violet 3 yrs ago when I rented a house from her. I was amazed when her daughter Nicole told me she was 86 years old. I thought she was in her sixties. I would see her every month and she would invariably invite me in and we would sit at her kitchen table and chat.I found it really interesting to talk to her because she had been in our neighborhood for over 60 yrs. I would always ask her if I could see photos of her when she was young because I thought she had probably been really beautiful. She seemed a little embarassed by my request but she did show me some photos and of course..... she was incredibly beautiful. She was a wonderful person and I'm going to miss her
