Ruth passed away peacefully in her sleep following a prolonged yet courageous battle with the deterioration of her health. Predeceased in 2002 by Ron, her husband of over 60 years, Ruth leaves behind their three sons, Paul (Penny), Alan and Gordon. Also missing her are nine granddaughters and two great grandsons, many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Special thanks are extended to Mom's two cousins, Ron and Steve and their families. Mom enjoyed visits and outings with family and friends until a few days prior to her death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 pm on April 29 at Vancouver Rowing Club, 450 Stanley Park Drive, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
