Condolence: To the Vroom family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to your family for your loss.
My family and I will always remember Ruth’s generosity and humility. My mom and dad spoke often and fondly of their time spent with Ruth and Ron, and how much they had done to help them when they were starting out as a young couple.
For nearly 60 years their friendship endured and my mom and dad will never forget all that Ruth and Ron did for them.
I had the opportunity to have lunch with Ruth a number of years ago when she and Ron sailed into Victoria at the end of one of their many sailing trips. Over our short visit Ruth’s intelligence, wit, charm and caring heart left a lasting impression on me.
Ruth touched our lives and our lives have been better for it.
