Passed away peacefully Nov. 4, 2013 in Richmond, BC after a brief illness with colon cancer. She is survived by her daughter, Jocelyne (Eric Mesotopitis), grandchildren, Chrisostomos and Anastasia; nephew, Jason; niece, Myra; nephews, Raymond, Glenn and Johnny and other relatives and friends. Carmelita was a graduate of University of Santo Thomas with a Bachelor of Science and Education and Nutrition. She immigrated to Canada in 1963 where she resided in Montreal until 1992 when she moved to Vancouver to be with her daughter. Carmelita will be dearly missed. Prayers will be offered on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2465 Crown St. Vancouver, BC followed by the Funeral Mass on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 11:00 am, Fr.
