Condolence: Today is the day we mourn the loss but celebrate the life of one great lady; my Aunty Joya. I miss her more than words can express. She was more that just an Aunty to James and I, she was a second Grandmother after we lost our dear Jo-Jo so young. She will be so sorely missed, but her memory not forgotten. Her heart was so full of love and big bear hugs. She looked after, cared for and supported everybody and everything she came in contact with. Love to all my family today, my thoughts are with you and I only wish that I could be there with you.

Condolence: There are not enough words to express the depth of love that I had for my sister, Joya. I knew that no matter what I could always rely upon her. I could not have had a better role model, she was the epitome of Faith, Hope and Charity; and demonstrated such kindness and love towards everyone she met and all of God's creatures. I feel so blessed and honoured to have had her as my sister, to have shared so many of life's good and bad moments with her and to have been loved by her so unconditionally. I will miss her very much but know that I carry her in my heart always. XOXOXO

Condolence From: Mona O'Sullivan
Condolence: Joya used the gifts that God blessed her with of hospitality, giving, kindness and cheerfulness. Charlie and I benefited from these many times over the years. We could never match her or outdo her! Her grandchildren were of first importance to her and I recall she would sometimes bring Lindsay and Conor along to Gigi's backyard meetings of our Bible Study group when they were preschoolers, and it was her day to babysit. Upon visiting her in hospital, I was thinking to cheer her up, but it was me that ended up being cheered and encouraged by her faith and positive outlook. Her thoughts rarely centered on herself but on the other person - even concerning herself with another patient and how he would be cared for. I quote from an Anonymous writer: "Life is eternal; and love is immortal; and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight."
