The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Geraldine Erickson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Geraldine Eleanor Erickson (Grills)
Geraldine Erickson (Grills) passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on September 13, 2014. Gerry was an amazing woman who lived a full and wonderful life. After a long career at Microtel and previous to that Lenkurt Electric, she retired, along with her husband to their dream home in Madiera Park, BC. Gerry loved her dogs, husband and family and supported many charities. She leaves behind her husband, Roy (Normanna Rest Home, Burnaby), sister, Yvonne Chantry, nieces Brenda O’Leary, Lynda Davey and Marnee Watson, 4 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews. Predeceased by sister, Bev Simpson. Many thanks to all the people involved in her care at Shorncliffe Care Home, Sechelt, BC. In lieu of flowers donation to Gerry’s favorite charity, the SPCA would be appreciated.
