Condolence From: Kristi Billing
Condolence: I have such great memories of Auntie Mary Jane right from my childhood onwards. She was an amazing woman who was always loving and patient, full of laughter and had such a quick wit. She always took the time to ask about my life and interests and really listened to the answers even when I was a young child. Any time you spent time with her you learned so much without even realizing that she was teaching you. She will be missed.

Condolence: Mary Jane, for me, was first and always a loving auntie, one whose wisdom, kindness and grace was apparent each time we spoke, wrote or shared time together. I will remember her as a teacher who respected knowledge as much as she valued learning, mastering a task as much as exploring new ideas, and how our conversations could be challenging or effortless, but always left me better for it. She was patient and curious and understanding, and I will miss her humour and her love, and I will miss her.

Condolence: While she is no longer with us, Mary Jane will be with us forever in our hearts and memories. Her ever smiling face always gave we a warm, welcome feeling whenever we were able to visit. She was always one with a quick wit and bit of sound advice to one (me) who would occasionally stray from what a parent thought should be. We often had long afternoon chats which inevitably would lead to "Dining at an elegant hour". Our numerous visit to Winnipeg, Sydney, Victoria, and White Rock were always full of anticipation of another wonderful time with Mary Jane and Michael. These fond memories are a reminder that Mary Jane was a truly exceptional person who will live with us forever. May she be smiling down on us as I write this.

Condolence: Dear Philips family,
Please accept my deepest condolences. In these difficult times, meditate on this beautiful hope found in Isaiah 26:19: "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Think about this promise and your dear Mary Jane.
