Condolence: Pasquale, Steve and Ella,
You have our deepest love and sympathy.
We have fond memories of your family enjoying your trips to Viva Condos. We can still see Ella and Maria walking hand in hand down the path to their "Mexico house", always content to be in their happy place.
Maria was a special soul. She will be forever missed.

Condolence: Dear Ella, Steve, Grant, Laura and all the Baratta family,

We are so sorry for your loss. We came to know Maria as the mother of Ella, as one of Ethan's favourite grade 1&2 playmates, and her wit, her love, her pizzazz made her a bright light at Carnarvon Elementary.

Maria was such a beautiful soul. Her sense of humour, her grace, her creativity, her kindness were gifts to so many. Such a difficult journey she had, and her strength and courage in the face of challenges were incredible.

My favourite memories of Maria are of her stopping, mid-walk in our neighbourhood, to revel in the beauty of a rose, the grace of a climbing vine, the blueness of the sky. She taught me truly appreciate the present moment.

OUr hearts and thoughts are with you all.

Condolence From: Pasquale, Ella, Laura, Marco and Family
Condolence: My heart goes out to you all. Maria brought love to this world in so many different ways. She was one of those special souls that made all of us that knew her (be it one week or 30 years) want to be her friend. She was funny, clever, creative and shared these qualities selflessly - it made her happy to make others happy. Pasquale...you and Clelia raised a daughter who left a beautiful foot print in this world that will continue to inspire us all forever. I will miss her laugh, her smile and ..well all of her. It was an honor to be her friend. Now she is Home to rest in the loving presence of our Lord. We love you Maria Kennedy. Deb, Brad & Adrien

Condolence: We have lost one of the great ones. I had the good fortune to be able to work with Maria for 10 years at DDB. She was incredibly talented, cared about people, about the work she was doing. She had a magnetic smile, an eye for design, a passion for the Canucks and a knack for bringing out the best in people. I 'grew up' with her as leaders at DDB and learned so much from working with her, about how to collaborate, how to inspire great work and creative thinking from people. She was a legend at DDB and across the Canadian marketing industry. She made fast and real connections with people and I know her friends around the world are so sad at her passing. Condolences to all of Maria's family and I'm sorry to not be able to join you in Vancouver for the service. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Condolence: I am very sorry for your loss Marco, and for Maria's entire family. Although we never met Marco I remember so very well when Maria hired me, she told me about her brother. I have the fondest memories working closely with Maria in the early 90s. She lead by example and I like everyone else learned so much from her. I will never forget how she quickly made me feel a part of a team by including me on a business trip to Whistler soon after joining the company. Soon after that she invited her entire team to her house for dinner and I will never forget a riveting game of pictionary she had us all play. She truly was a leader and will always be remembered. Now she lives in peace in eternity, may you find comfort in that.
