It is with great sadness that we announce Verna’s passing in Vancouver, BC where she was born and raised.

Verna is predeceased by her parents, Stan and Winnifred; and brother, Robert McCullough. She is survived by her husband, Ken; children, Steve (Donna), Ron (Annamaria), and Susan (Richard); grandchildren, Kevin, Brandon, Kurtis, and Cathy; and brother-in-law, Don (Barb).

Verna had a kind and caring spirit and was Ken’s best friend and a devoted wife of 61 years and being a loving mom and grandma were always her priorities.

All Verna’s friends and family will cherish the many fond memories they have of sharing fun times with her whether it was camping in Oliver, weekends at the Whistler cabin, or vacationing in Maui. Verna also enjoyed golfing, playing badminton, fishing, and skiing; and was always teased about her famous fabulous notes she made about almost everything.

Verna, your beautiful soul and caring heart will be remembered and your smile will light up heaven.
