Joseph Gerard MacKinnon born May 17, 1961, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2017 after a very courageous battle with cancer.

He is predeceased by his parents, Richard and Mary MacKinnon and sister Mary Ann MacKinnon.

He is survived and will be sadly missed by his loving partner Gabriella Gromer, sister Rose Marie Taylor, and nieces and nephews Michael, Timothy, Laura, David, Jonathan and Dianna.

Joseph had many interests and careers, but his most recent and special to him were photography and representing locations to the local film industry. He touched the lives of many and was always ready for a good conversation and coffee. Joseph was very creative which was evidenced by the thousands of photographs he took. One of his most favourite and willing subjects was his little dachshund Tupper, who also provided him with lots of love, comfort and companionship, especially in the last two years.
