Sadly, Darlene passed away on June 29, 2017 at Queen's Park Care Centre following a long fight with cancer. She is survived by her brother and two sisters (Donna and May) of Prince George, by her brother, Stuart of Chilliwack, and by her loving companion George in Burnaby with whom she lived in her final years. Every morning, upon waking, she was there - making coffee, and we would begin our day. Now no longer. She truly possessed a beautiful and kind soul to her many friends that knew her.
