It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roland, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Joan, son John (Bernice), sister-in-law Margaret (Jack), grandchildren Cathy (Dave), Janet (Bill), Lisa (Neil), Michael, Matthew (Emily), Genevieve (Joe), and 10 great grandchildren. He loved gardening, golf, bowling, and activities at church. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus and a veteran of WWII. The family sends a special thank you for the caring staff at Blenheim Lodge and to his amazing neighbours whose friendship was greatly appreciated. Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Parish on Tuesday, August 15 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
