Father Donald Douglas Macdonald
MACDONALD – Rev. Donald Douglas, O.M.I., passed away on September 24, 2017 at Brock Fahrni Pavilion, Vancouver, BC. Fr. DD was born July 14, 1933 in Antigonish, NS. He was Ordained to the Priesthood in the Congregation of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate December 19, 1959 in Antigonish, NS. Fr. DD was survived by two sisters: Phyllis (Ronald) McLeod of Connecticut, USA, Moira (Leonard) Prekel of Michigan, USA and a brother, Ronald (Myrna) MacDonald of Antigonish, NS. He is predeceased by his parents, Angus Ronald and Marie MacDonald (nee MacInnis), sister Annette MacDonald and brother, John R. MacDonald.
