Obituary for John Frederick Stafford McKelvie
John (Jack) McKELVIE
Jack died peacefully at the age of 93 at Brock
Fahrni Pavilion on October 7th, 2017. Jack was
born in Comox BC and moved to Vancouver as a
young boy with his family. He served with the
RCAF until the end of the war when he went to
work for Ocean Cement for 35 years. He and his
wife Mary spent their retirement years in Palm
Springs to enjoy their love of golf. Mary
predeceased Jack in 2009. He is survived by his
daughters Beverley (Jim), Jane, 5 grandchildren,
11 great grandchildren and his brother Roy (Jean).
Jack was fortunate to have spent the last 2 years of
his life surrounded by the wonderful care of all the
staff at Brock Fahrni. His family is most grateful
for all of their efforts.
