Don died at the age of 99, peaceful with family members by his side.

Don is lovingly remembered by his wife Gregoria, his children Don (Winnie), Rose Anne (Wayne), Robin (Robert), Robert Douglas and Adrienne (Walt) He will be missed by his seven grandchildren Tanja, Mark, Todd, Karina, Morgan, Anthony and Kosal and two great granddaughters Morgan and Rylan

Don had many wide and varied interests: skiing, boating, hiking, fencing, canoeing, Russian and ballroom dancing, camping and sailing

Throughout his lifetime Don was a community advocate who fought for the preservation of waterfront, was dedicated to the YMCA and actively supported organizations in which his children were involved. He was a founding member of the Hollyburn Country Club.

Don was the Chief Engineer for Fraser Valley Milk Producers (Dairyland) for more than 30 years. He was lead engineer on the building of the Dairyland plant in Burnaby in the 1960s.

A celebration of life for Don will be held at West Vancouver Senior Center, 695 - 21st Street West Vancouver, November 17, 2017 from 1:30-3:30 pm.
