Obituary for Johanna de Vos

Johanna passed away peacefully on February 1, 2017 in Vancouver at the age of 83 years. She was born in Nijmegen, Netherlands on September 21, 1933.

Johanna was predeceased by her brother, Frans van Hees; and her sisters, Femia de Koning-van Hees and Rieki van Duinen-van Hees. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Nico; her daughters, Brigitte and Yvonne; grandchildren, Carmen, Maya (Jon), Kayla, Jeremy, Isabel, and Cameron; as well as her brothers, Joop, Theo, Ben; and other family in the Netherlands and Australia.

Johanna will be remembered for her strong faith in God and devotion to Mary, her dedication to her family, her love of children and flowers, and a lifetime of service to others.
