Obituary for Semen Kaspryk

Born in Torky, Ukraine on January 22, 1916. Semen passed peacefully into the Lord's presence on February 22, 2017. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 70 years, Walentyna; and is survived by his daughter, Lesia (Dan); son, Jaroslav, and 4 beloved grandchildren.

Prayers will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. and Liturgy of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be celebrated at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 550 West 14th Avenue, Vancouver, BC.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the caregivers at home and the doctors, nurses and support staff at Vancouver General Hospital ACE Unit, for their kindness and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Semen’s memory to Ukrainian Catholic Education Foundation for the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv., c/o Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of New Westminster, 502 – 5th Ave, New Westminster, BC V3l 1S2
