Obituary for Annette Marie Leskun

LESKUN (nee MILETTE), Annette Marie

Passed away on May 31, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Annette was born on the 18th of May 1922 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. She was the 3rd born of 12 children to Joseph MILETTE and Rose MILETTE (nee St. Laurent). Her Canadian ancestry dates back to 1666 and she was directly related to Nicholas MILETTE and Michelle LESDILLER (a Fille du Roi) Annette married John Walter LESKUN of Regina Saskatchewan in April 27th, 1946. She became a nurse and took care of neighbours and all of us with compassion and love. She loved to travel and visited a good amount of the world with family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband John; her parents, Rose & Joseph; her brothers & sisters Cecile, Ida, Emlle, Simone, Leo, Lorraine, Louie, Rita, Maurice and her two half siblings, Ester and Joseph. She is survived by siblings Louisa and Roland (Rosalie), her four children Richard (Marilynn) Leskun, Ronald (June) Leskun, Janice (Gary) Miller, Jo-Ann Leskun and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Annette will be greatly missed, but our grief is softened by the hope of her resurrection. Her strong Catholic faith guided her whole life and carried her through the veil of death.
