Obituary for Lucienne (Lou) "- October 23 2017 " Logan

Lucienne (Lou) Madeleine passed away peacefully on October 23, 2017, four days prior to her 100th birthday in her home in Vancouver, British Columbia. She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Rungta (Kamal) and Jane Logan (Bernard Barreyre), and her grandchildren, Ravi (Brittany), Asha, Olivia and Nicholas.

She was born in Saint-Maurice-lès-Châteauneuf, France, during World War I and moved to New York City at age two. She graduated from New York University and went on to be an executive secretary and world traveller. She settled down in Quebec City with her husband, Ken, where they raised their two daughters.

She was a woman of many talents: an amazing cook, an accomplished seamstress, an avid bridge player and an active investor in the stock market. She will be remembered for her positive attitude and her love of life. To a great lady with so much class. She will be terribly missed.
