Condolences

Condolence From: Michael Moffa
Condolence: Previously unaware of this online memorial to Dr. Irving, I now wish to offer my belated condolences and recollections, as one of his Vancouver patients.

Performing, from time to time, relatively minor out-patient surgery on me, Dr. Irving always made me feel welcome and well-looked after, blending his evident professional expertise with a genial and gentle, engaging and sincere manner. I will not forget his wise, benevolent, empathic and patient character and manner that, at some unspoken level elevated surgical treatment to something akin to a grandfatherly treat.

I now thank him here for both the care he gave and the memories he left me.

Condolence: To Dr. Irving's dear wife and family members:

I just today read of Dr. Irving's death in the B.C. Catholic magazine. I was so saddened to hear of his passing.
I was a patient of Dr. Irving's for several years, both at the Commercial Care point, and Denman Care Point Clinics.
He performed several surgeries on my toes ( for in-grown nails) at the clinic. He also treated me for various problems over the years at the Clinics.

He was such a kind, and considerate man, with a wonderful ability to share his talents, healing work with his patients.

It's been almost 2 years since I last saw him, and he was, at that time, a very capable doctor.

My deepest sympathy goes out to his dear wife, and all his family members.

He will be missed by his many patients and all members of the Medical Community.

May his soul rest in the peace of the Lord, and may Perpetual Light shine upon him.

With Deep Sadness,

Lawrence Bauer

Condolence From: Dr. Tracey A Parnell
Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss! Dr. Irving was an amazing man - a true inspiration for us younger doctors! He was kind enough to cover my practice here in Cranbrook several times and patients loved him. He shared his Faith with me and inspired me during difficult times. I know his loss will always be painful, but I am comforted knowing he can now advocate for us as one of God's Saints! All my thoughts and prayers!

God Bless,

Tracey

Condolence: I was greatly saddened to hear of Dr Irving's death. I only knew him as a patient for the short period that he was in Cranbrook. I was immediately at ease in his presence. His understanding and the effort put forth by him to resolve my medical problems were outstanding. I remember him as a wonderful person who will I'm sure be greatly missed.
My condolences to the whole family. Peter Caws.
