Veronica Boyden-Boodoosingh and Family -- Taran, Carson, Declan, and Peyton. And the Boyden Family.

Dearest Rozanne, Paul, Danny, Sharon, Adam, and our sweetest and dearest lifelong friend, Melanie: We are so saddened to hear of our wonderful and loving Fred's passing. He is forever in our hearts as the kindest, most giving soul. Fred's warm smile, and fantastic sense of humour were only outshone by his heart of pure gold. When my father passed away years ago, Fred filled that void by being a thoughtful, kindhearted father figure for my family. In particular, my youngest brother, Raymond remembers Fred as always welcoming him to participate in fun outings with his sweet little friend, Adam. Raymond is so saddened to know he will not get a chance to thank Fred in person, for all the fun-filled times they shared. Fred did not hesitate to make any of the Boyden children feel like we were one of his own. My lovely mother, Blanche reminisces with us about what an outstandingly generous and thoughtful man he was, offering her to have the family van (decked out in it's finery -- shag rugs, velvet curtains,...) when his family was moving away from our neighbourhood. While she could not accept such an amazing gift, we did end up with wonderful Nikki, the white Samoyed dog, who remained a much-loved part of the family for years after. But most of all, Fred was, for me, that caring and supportive father figure during my formative teen years, and throughout the rest of my life. He taught me that life could still be everything I wanted it to be, even after my own father could no longer encourage me. Melanie and I are truly more like sisters than friends. She carries within her that loving light that shines from her heart, that beautiful part of her that was formed by her father's love. Fred continues to live on in all of his family members. Paul, Danny, Sharon and Adam are all the kind of people that this earth needs ... genuine, caring, funny, loving. Rozanne and Fred have always been that perfect couple, in love every day they were together. Rozanne, our hearts are filled with sadness for your loss. You are so wise and spiritual and we have no doubt that Fred remains by your side. I know in my heart that my own father welcomed Fred into God's kingdom on Monday, grateful that he could finally thank the man who has meant so much to our family since his own passing so long ago. All our prayers, love and heartfelt sympathies are with you. We all wish we could be there in person, but please know that Fred will never be forgotten, and that he lives forever in our hearts because of the amazing man he was. Love always, Veronica and family, And the Boyden Bunch -- Blanche, Bruce and family, Mary and family, Julia and family, Suzanne and family, Joseph and family, Francis and family, and Raymond and family.
